Goalie on-ice sessionHow much money should I bring?

  • All meals are provided (unless you are registering under the Local's Rate)
  • Kids normally spend money on snacks between meals, fluids after a session, pizza at night, souvenirs, or hockey tape.
  • Skate sharpening is included in the registration fee.
  • On average kids bring around $40 - $50.
  • Their money goes into our 'bank' at registration and they will have access to it twice daily at scheduled times.
  • Banff Hockey School T-shirts and golf shirts are sold on Sundays during registration.

What To Bring

BRING:

  • Hockey gear (including neck guard)
  • Hockey sticks (extra stick for dryland training on concrete)
  • 6 t-shirts
  • 3 pairs of pants
  • 1-2 pairs of shorts
  • 10 pairs of socks, 10 pair of underwear
  • Light jacket
  • Swimming trunks
  • Towels
  • Toilettries
  • Shower shoes
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Hat

Note: clothing numbers may need to be adjusted if player wears clothes underneath their gear

The Messier Banff International Hockey School (located in Canmore, Alberta for 2012) is a comfortable sixty minute drive West of Calgary in the province of Alberta via the four lane, year-round TransCanada Highway.

We are easily accessible with six international airlines plus numerous charter airlines offering frequent flights from around the world.

Canmore is also serviced by regular charter and scheduled bus transportation. Major car rental agencies are conveniently located in Canmore and Calgary.
